Cottesloe Beach is a Western Australian icon and one of Perth’s most popular beaches. In October 2009, Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club celebrated 100 years of providing beach safety and service to the community and visitors to Cottesloe Beach. Annually over 150,000 visitors head down to the iconic Cottesloe Beach.
Life saving is our core business. Cottesloe club members provide voluntary life-saving patrols on the weekends and public holidays. These volunteers are the heart of our club and endeavor to keep our beaches as safe as possible. Club members participate in training and competition. They also enjoy the social atmosphere which is a significant part of club life. We have many social activities throughout the season which we communicate through our weekly newsletter Cott Mail and on our Facebook and website posts.
New members are most welcome! You can join as a patrolling member, as a family or join our nippers program which gets the younger ones confident on the beach and in the surf. You may also want to join to compete in life-saving events, to get fit or make the most of the club’s social life. Whatever your reason, Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club has something to suit almost everyone.
